Wesley Bryant Brown of Geneva passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was 68. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will follow at Vaughanville Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Mr. Brown was born in Roanoke, AL on July 15, 1953, to Mattie Ruth Brown and the late Jackson Cecil Brown. Following high school, he served his country in the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked in landscaping for many years. In his pastime, he enjoyed going fishing. He was a family man and a good mechanic.
He is survived by his mother, Mattie Ruth Brown; wife of fifty-one years, Lisa Brown; three daughters, Donna Brown, Melissa Lambert, and Lezley Bryant; ten grandchildren, Denim Gautney (Dillion), Michael Monette, Ava Pletz (Jeffrey), Alycia Wallace (James), Hailie Lambert, Harley Kynard, Kayley Kynard, JC Lambert, Sean Brown, and Savana Brown; five great-grandchildren, Alexis Brown, Graceleigh Brown, Ethan Wallace, Isabelle Wallace, and Olivia Wallace; two sisters, Sherry Akridge, and Elese Miller, both of Geneva; brother, Dennis Brown of Missouri; and several much-loved nieces and nephews.
