Wanda Johnson Austin of Chancellor passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 14, 2013. She was 51. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Austin was born in Orlando, Fla on April 11, 1962 to Wenfred O'Neal Johnson and the late Bertha Grimes Johnson. She was employed by Phillips Van Heusen for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Turner of Clayhatchee; two granddaughters, Celeste Ward of Dothan and Miranda Vickers of Bonifay, Fla; father, O'Neal Johnson of Coffee Springs; two brothers, Rickey Johnson of Coffee Springs and Mark Johnson of Hartford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
