Virginia Pinson, a resident of Spring Haven Retirement in Winter Haven, FL, and formerly of Wimauma, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. She was 91. A memorial service to be held at Highfalls Assembly of God Church Cemetery will be announced later.
Mrs. Pinson was born in Dale County, AL on November 25, 1928, to the late A.J. “Doc” Judah and Thelma Andrews Judah. She was a longtime member of Wimauma Community Church of God. She enjoyed fishing and traveling in her RV. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Aubrey Lewis, and her second husband, Maurice Pinson; four brothers, Morris Judah, Herman Judah, Glen Judah, Wallace Judah and a sister, Judy Jackson.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Lewis of Sarasota, FL and Terry Lewis of Lakeland, FL; brother, Virgil Judah of McCormick, SC; two sisters, Rachel Johnson of Winter Haven, FL and Eunice Macy of Asheboro, NC; two grandchildren, Laura Tanis of Lakeland, FL and Dana Lewis of Chicago, IL; and two great-grandchildren, Ellie Tanis & Aubrey Tanis, both of Lakeland, FL.
