Thelma L Meeks

Thelma L. Meeks, 90 of Ocoee, FL passed away on March 1, 2019.  She was born on Dec. 2, 1928 in Coffee County, AL.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Hartzog, officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson, directing.  The family will receive friends, beginning one hour prior to the service.   

Mrs. Meeks retired as the Head Cashier from Winn Dixie Supermarkets after 35 years of service.  Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. “Bobby” Meeks and by her grandson Jeffrey Wise.  She is survived by her daughters: Judy Meeks (Ted) Malans and Patsy Meeks Wise; her 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
