Mr. Terry Owens of Geneva passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 3, 2013. He was 63. A graveside service with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Nathan Carroll officiating. Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva is directing.

Terry was born in Enterprise, AL to the late James Neal Owens, Sr. and Frances Jewell Owens. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved Southeastern Conference and NFL football. He was always a very caring person and was willing to help anyone in need. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Neal Owens, Jr; and sister, Lisa Love.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Owens of Enterprise; son, Kevin Vann of Black; two step-sons, Greg Pilcher and Ronnie Pilcher, both of Enterprise; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Max.
