Scottie Bryant McCrummen

Scottie Bryant “Ram” McCrummen, Sr. of Samson, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. He was 59. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Lamar Wood, officiating. Burial will follow at Travelers Rest Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Scottie was born in Enterprise, AL on May 10, 1966, to the late Donald J. McCrummen and Mary McCrummen.   He was employed by the City of Samson for the past thirty years.  In his pastime, Scottie loved to play music.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn McCrummen; son, Scottie McCrummen, Jr.; two daughters, Miranda Lynn Hudson (Jamie) and Jeanna Rhee McCrummen (Eugene); seven grandchildren; brother, Mickey McCrummen, and two sisters, Ellen Dorn and Melissa Limppo.
