Retha (Moore) Jensen

Retha Moore Jensen of Samson passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020.  She was one day shy of her 77th birthday.  A memorial service is being planned for the month of April and will be announced later.

Mrs. Jensen was born in Georgia on March 21, 1943, to the late Tarver Vernon “TV” Moore, Sr. and Naomi Queen Moore.  She was a very caring and kind person who loved people and cats.  She loved to cook, was a great seamstress, quilter, and collector of salt & pepper shakers.  Above all else, she loved her family unconditionally.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonita Richardson; and all ten of her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Edith Coleman of Great Falls, MT; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; Bobby C. Readdy, William Johnson, and John Scott Kilpatrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
