Pamela Ann Lasseter of Geneva passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020. She was 68. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Rosetta and Rev. Ben Vickers, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Geneva First United Methodist Church, PO Box 517, Geneva, AL 36340.
Mrs. Lasseter was born in Huntington, WV on July 24, 1951, to the late Jack and Joyce Connelly Dial. She was a faithful member of the Geneva First United Methodist Church. Prior to her retirement, she taught in the Geneva City School System for more than thirty years. She also taught swimming and art to children throughout the area for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Lasseter of Geneva; two daughters, Tiffanie Cox (Chris) of Auburn, and Anna Lasseter Green (Jason) of Franklin, TN; son, Stephen Walters, Jr. (Misty) of Geneva; three grandchildren, Hannah Cox Bodine (Matt), Jackson Walters, and Sawyer Walters; great-grandchild, Owen Bodine; two sisters, Paula Phillips (Steve) of Samson, and Patti Anderson of Geneva; and numerous nieces and nephews.
