Obituary
Ned Smith of Hartford passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. He was 78. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Ned was born in Geneva, AL on June 30, 1943, to the late Sovin Smith and Thelma Hayes Smith. He served was a US Marine during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a house painter for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karla Smith; twin-brother, Ted Smith, and a sister, Mary Nell Johnson.
He is survived by his nephew, Ralph Jackson; great-niece and nephew, Aiden and Tanner Jackson; and two grandchildren, Mikayla and Dakota Baxley.
