Mary Nell (Thomas) Webster

Mary Nell Webster of Elba, formerly of Samson and Clio, AL, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018.  She was 82.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Randy Adams and Rev. Scotty Troublefield, officiating.  Burial will follow at Piney Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 19, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Webster was born in Enterprise, AL on July 17, 1936, to the late Charlie Frank and Hollian McCormick Thomas.  She graduated from Enterprise High School, Class of 1955.  She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Clio, AL for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clois Webster; sister, Bonnie Bell Fulcher; and a grandson, Hunter Harrison.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Webster, and wife, Denise of Clio, AL; three daughters, Linda Hendrix (Jeff) of Samson, Amanda Spears (Steve) of Geneva, and Annette Gautney (Albert) of Donaldsonville, GA; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
