Martha Christine Brannon of Geneva passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021. She was 96. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Rosetta, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Mrs. Brannon was born in Hartford, AL on January 1, 1925, to the late Walter Monroe and Margaret Elizabeth Willis Justice. She was a graduate of Geneva County High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the Geneva City School System for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Brannon; sister, Ruth Bowdoin; and two brothers, James Justice, and J.C. Justice.
She is survived by her daughter, Freida Brannon of Geneva; son, Dale Brannon; two grandchildren, Shonda Meigs (Joey), and Chris Brannon (DeAnna) all of Dothan; and four great-grandchildren.
