Kimbroth Mark Phillips, of Samson, Alabama, passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 58.
Mark was a man of immense faith. He knew and loved his Savior, Jesus Christ, and although his presence will be deeply missed here on earth, his family rejoices in the assurance that he is now with his Savior. Mark was raised by his god-fearing parents, Royce and Gertrude Phillips, who preceded him in death and faithfully ran their race before him.
He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Alicia Phillips, whom he cherished deeply for the past 20 years. His love for his family was evident in all that he did, and he took great pride in those closest to him.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Christina Taft; his son, James Misciagno, and his fiancée, Rachel Rivera; and his beloved granddaughter, Reina Misciagno. He is also survived by his sister, Terri Lancaster, and her husband, Joel Lancaster; his niece, Leah Lancaster; his nephew, Luke Lancaster, and his wife, Gabby Lancaster; and their son, Henry Lancaster.
Mark will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his deep love for his family, and the steady, faithful way he lived his life. His legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in all who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson, with Pastor Joel Lancaster, officiating.
