Marion Elizabeth (McCarthy) Hill

 Marion Elizabeth “Betty” Hill of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.  She was 78.  A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on County Road 41 in Hartford, AL on March 3rd at 2:00 pm.

Betty was born in Bristol, PA on April 2, 1940, to the late Arthur E. McCarthy and Marion McCarthy. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 63 years.  She worked as a legal secretary for America Metal Climax in New York.  She worked various other jobs throughout the years.  She loved to help people and talk about the Bible with them.  Her ministry work was her primary joy.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Hill; son, Judah Hill (Cynthia), of the Devco Community; two brothers, Ken McCarthy (Debbie) of Walcott, NY and Art McCarthy (Norma) of Scranton, PA; other family members, David McCarthy, Jessica McCarthy,  Liam McCarthy; Jacob McCarthy, Rebecca Jimenez, Amy Morales, and Art McCarthy Jr.
