Maria Rose Nelson

Maria Rose Nelson of Apple Valley, California passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019.  She was 15.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson, Alabama with Rev. Boyd Hartzog, officiating.  Burial will follow at Travelers Rest Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson, directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Maria was born in Chillicothe, Missouri on September 3, 2003.  Her hobbies were many but most of all she loved swimming, softball, reading, painting, and music.

She is survived by her father, Benjamin Nelson; mother, Nichole-Danielle Nelson; mother, Ashley Nelson; two brothers, Kenneth Nelson and Damien Johnson, and her sister, Opal Johnson.
