Margaret Ruth Carr of Dothan passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. She was 89. No service will be held per her request.
Mrs. Carr was born in Geneva County, Alabama on January 1, 1930, to the late James Curtis and Vallie Jones McGowan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert J. Carr; four brothers, J.C. McGowan Jr., Albert McGowan, Franklin McGowan, Henry McGowan; and five sisters, Louise Roney, Mary Nell Martin, Joann Futrell, Janie Hatcher, and Martha Sue Carr.
She is survived by her two sisters, Edith Bennett and Linda Bowdoin, Both of Dothan, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
