Lisa (Landes) Brown

Lisa G. Brown of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was 68. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Harry O. Adkisson, officiating.  The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Lisa was born in Norfolk, VA on November 27, 1954, to the late Lester and Grace Blayney Landes.  She was a homemaker for the past twenty years, and her husband, children and grandchildren were her life.  She loved us all beyond measure. She loved everyone.  She knew no stranger and would do anything she could for anyone in need to the point she would do without to help others. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.   She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Wesley Brown.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Brown, Melissa Lambert, and Lezley Bryant; ten grandchildren, Denim Gautney, Michael Monette, Ava Sullivant, Alycia Lambert, Hailie Lambert, Harley Kynard, Kayley Kynard, JC Lambert, Sean Brown, and Savana Brown; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis Brown, Graceleigh Brown, Remi, Ethan Wallace, Isabelle Wallace, Olivia Wallace, John Wesley Brown, and one on the way; two brothers, Lester Michael Landes (Cindy) and William Charles Landes; mother-in-law, Mattie Ruth Brown; two sisters, Susan Landes Maynard, and Christina Landes Boone (Steve); two sisters-in-law, Elese Miller, and Sherry Akridge; brother-in-law, Dennis Brown; uncle, Austin; two aunts, Julia and Sandra in Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
