Lendon Allen Brunson

Lendon Allen Brunson of Geneva passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.  He was 83. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Teddy Ward, officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Brunson was born in Clayhatchee, AL on November 27, 1938, to the late John and Ruby Green Brunson.  He retired from the Florida Department of Transportation.  Later, he owned and operated Brunson Service Station and Trailer Park in Geneva for many years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of his family.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Brunson; son, Randall Brunson (Rita); daughter, Sylvia Dixon (Terry), all of Geneva; four grandchildren, Daniel Dixon, Candace Lawton, Christa French, and Cody Brunson; three great-grandchildren, Owen Lawton, Oliver Lawton, and Carter James French; two sisters, Fay Anderson (Rex) of Geneva, and Betty Kliewer, both of Geneva; and a brother, Donald H. Brunson.
