Joe Frank Johnson

Mr. Joe Frank Johnson of Geneva passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.  He was 86.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva at with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Mr. Johnson was born in the Hacoda Community on July 10, 1933, to the late T.T. Johnson and Jessie Miller Johnson.  He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.  Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed painter for many years.  He was preceded in death by all four of his siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah B. Johnson of Geneva; daughter, Regina Capps of Carryville, FL; two sons, Ronnie Frank Johnson of Bonifay, FL, and Joel Keith Johnson of Geneva; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
