Jessie Nell (Wooten) Lane

Jessie Nell Lane of Fountain, FL, and formerly of Geneva, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.  She was 74. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles G. Lay, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Lane was born in Westville, FL on March 14, 1946, to the late Jessie Wooten and Bertha Mae Coskrey Wooten.  Prior to her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper in the accounting industry for many years.  She loved gardening and fishing in the pastime. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Lanell Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Robert A. Lane of Biloxi, MS; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, including a special great-grandchild she was raising, Breanna Cantrell; and a brother, JW Wooten, Jr. (Ginny) of Opp.
