Jerome L ("Bo") Cobb

Jerome L. “Bo” Cobb, Sr. of Chancellor passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022.  He was 90. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Chancellor Assembly of God Church with Rev. Larry Mock and Rev. David Cobb, officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Cobb was born in Dale County, AL on September 5, 1932, to the late Eugene Larkin Cobb and Lovie Price Cobb.  He retired from US Army after serving for twenty-two years.  He was preceded in death by a son, Don Cobb; seven brothers; and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Merle Cobb; daughter, Sherecia Cawley; son, Jerome L. Cobb, Jr. (Kim); four grandchildren, Tamara Dickerson (Paul), Bubba Cobb (Amber), Triston Cobb all of Chancellor; Melanie Tritt (John) of Auburn; ten great-grandchildren, Addison Cobb, Grayson Dickerson, Brennan Dickerson, Layton Dickerson, Julee Cobb, Brooke Tritt, JT Tritt, Alison Blain, Amanda Laroux (Will), and Emily Bulloch; and a brother, Sam Cobb of El Paso, TX.
