Jerlon Lynn (Grimes) Adams

Jerlon Lynn Adams of Chancellor passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021.  She was 56.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Elbert Smith, officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Adams was born in Orlando, FL on April 17, 1964, to Bobby Clements and the late Ann Grimes.  She was raised by the late Frankie and John Grimes.  She was preceded in death by siblings, J.E. Grimes, James Grimes, Sue Holmes, Bertha Johnson, Dewey Grimes, Debbie Clements, and Doris Roberts.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Adams of Chancellor; father, Bobby Clements (Mary); stepdaughter, Amy Pettis (Jason), stepson, Jonathan Adams; five grandchildren; three sisters, Bessie Hamilton, Tammy Sharp, and Angie Hougland (Jared); four brothers, Michael Clements, Bo Clements, George Grimes, and WC Grimes; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
