Janet Marie Holliday, 65, of Bonifay, FL, embarked on her next great adventure on November 10th, 2025, passing peacefully into eternal life surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 30th 1960 in Slocomb, AL, Janet was the daughter of Jerrie Mae Holliday and the late William Rupert Holliday. Growing up in the close-knit community of Izagora, she cultivated a spirit of unwavering faith, boundless love and deep connection to those around her. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will follow at Izagora Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Janet’s greatest joy was her family. As a devoted daughter, mother and sister, she is survived by her mother, Jerrie Mae Holliday, her eight children, Aimee, Chad (Panama City), Amber (Jacksonville), Casey, Clay, Cameron, Cheldon and Caleb (all of Bonifay) and a doting grandmother to her 27 beloved grandchildren, as well as her siblings, Joe (Tina) & Jason (Emily) Holliday.
Though she was preceded in death by her father, William Rupert Holliday and her beloved son, Chris Epley, we find solace in knowing that they welcomed her home with open arms into a realm of eternal peace and love. In the end, she knew she was about to go be with her dad and son, and even joked that “they better not put me to work in that garden they’ve got going”.
