Jacquelyn F (Jackson) Smith

Jacquelyn “JJ” Smith of Geneva passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021.  She was 75. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Lisa Eller officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. 

Mrs. Smith was born in Geneva County, AL on February 10, 1945, to the late Charlie and Luna Mosely Jackson.  She was a graduate of Geneva High School.  Prior to her retirement, she worked at Wiregrass Medical Center for more than forty years.  She also worked with SouthernCare Hospice in Enterprise for several years.  She enjoyed traveling, reading books, and going fishing.  She was a loving mother and friend who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Millard Wright.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Gay Flick; son, William Ted Smith; three sisters, Linda Holley (Jerry), Rita Boyette (Calvin), and Pat Moore all of Geneva; two very special friends, Truett Senterfitt, Jr. of Freeport, FL and Alice Grantham Kelly of Geneva; and numerous nieces and nephews.
