Irmalee (Marden) Thompson

Irmalee Thompson of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.  She was 96.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka, FL with Loomis Family Funeral Home, directing.  Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Apopka, FL on July 5, 1925, to the late Isaac Horton Marden and Maggie Stevenson Marden.  Prior to her retirement, she kept a foliage nursery for many years.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Thompson, Sr.; and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Thompson, son, Douglas L. Thompson, both of Geneva and Floyd E. “Ted” Thompson, Jr. (Charolette) of Sandersville, GA; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
