Inez Creech Obituary

Ozie Inez Creech, a resident of Wiregrass Rehab and Nursing Home, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020. She was 92. A private funeral service will be held at Shady Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Earles, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.

Mrs. Creech was born in Grand Ridge, FL on October 26, 1927, to the late James Monroe Gilley and Nettie Mae Garner Gilley. She was a member of Shady Grove Assembly of God Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Creech; brother, James Gilley; and sister, Nell Wright.

She is survived by three daughters, Janey Money of Enterprise, Joyce Sundy of Coffee Springs, and Linda Phillips (Rickey) of the Lowery Community; two sons, Michael Creech (Teresa) of Hoover, and Johnny Creech (Janie) of Coffee Springs; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hubert Gilley and Jack Gilley; three sisters, Ann Jones, Lois Kilpatrick, and Frances Hersman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
