Hazelene (Landingham) Fleming

Hazelene Landingham Fleming of Samson passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was 87.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Danny Branch, officiating. Burial will follow at Lowery Church of Christ Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Fleming was born in Gaskin, FL on September 20, 1935, to the late Bruce Gapper Landingham and Mamie Lou Yates Landingham.  She was a longtime member of Reese Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Havilond Fleming; brother, Lynn Hayword Landingham; and a sister, Josephine Landingham.

She is survived by a son, Steve Fleming (Angela) of Samson; daughter, Ritha Fleming of Opp; five grandchildren, Daniel Fleming, Chrissy Schofield, Heather Evans, Adam Foley and Jason Adams; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
