Gisela F (Frommelt) Brunson

Gisela F. Brunson of Samson passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. She was 96. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Samson with Bro. Randy Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 100 West Main St., Samson, AL, 36477.

Mrs. Brunson was born in Halle, Germany on November 8, 1922, to the late Karl and Helena Frommelt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Brunson.

She is survived by sons, Robert Brunson (Vicki) of Pensacola, FL, Patrick Brunson (Cindy) of Elkmont, AL, and Michael Brunson (Sharon) of Birmingham, AL; eight grandchildren,  Scotty, Amanda, Andrew, Jonathan, Tommy, Michael, Tori, and Rebecca Brunson; and three great-grandchildren, Violet, Emily, and Isaac Brunson.
