Frederick Allen Seltenright

On Sunday, August 4, 2024, Frederick Allen Seltenright passed away peacefully at the age of 88 in the presence of his family. 

Born on February 29, 1936 in Butler, Indiana, Fred spent his early years in Marshall, Michigan, and married his wife, Bethanie, in Olivet, Michigan in 1968.

Fred spent many years racing sprint cars across several states in the Midwest and Southeast. As an avid angler, mechanic, and gardener, he spent many of his happiest days outdoors in his garden or on the lake fishing.

As much as he loved gardening and fishing, he was always happiest among his family. As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, there was nowhere he’d rather be than with his family - usually telling stories.

Fred is survived by his wife Beth, his children Dorothy, Barry, Stacy, and Annette, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He joins his parents Allen and Virginia, and his daughter Lesa in heaven.
