Frances (Sawyer) Greggs

Frances Greggs of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020.  She was 85. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Hood, officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Greggs was born in New Brockton, AL on July 7, 1935, to the late Wade and Ethel Sawyer.  Prior to her retirement, she was a teacher in the Holmes County School District for thirty-one years. She was preceded in death by all four of her siblings.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, RD Greggs of Defuniak Springs, FL; two sons, Kelvin Greggs of Westville, FL, and Delford Greggs (Carolyn) of Leisure Lakes, FL; daughter, Franzi Greggs of Panama City Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Delford Greggs, Jr., Amanda Greggs, and Tennyson Lee Greggs; and two great-grandchildren, Hamilton Reid Greggs and Lincoln Delford Greggs.
