Evelyn (Watley) Ward

Evelyn Ward of Kinston passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.  She was 55.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Alan Marsh, officiating.

Mrs. Ward was born in Montgomery, AL on August 28, 1966, to the late Willie Eugene Watley and Ruby Dean Watley.  She worked as a secretary for Jim Walter Homes for more than twenty-five years.  She was preceded in death by a by a brother, Marty Watley.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight Ward of Kinston; daughter, Holly Stiles (Matthew); son, Quinton David Mims both of Vance, AL; three brothers, Norman Watley of Alabama, Willie Watley of Decatur, IL, and Joel Watley of Jacksonville, FL; and a niece, Shelby Lynn Watley.
