Eddie Foy Glover, Sr. of Dothan, formerly of Geneva, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. He was 91. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Highfalls Assembly of God Church with Rev. Greg Lay, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Mr. Glover was born in Geneva County, AL on September 24, 1932, to the late Carlie Edgar Glover and Lora Mae Judah Glover. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Glover; two sons, Joseph Glover and Jerry Glover; and six of his siblings.
He is survived by six sons, Eddie Foy Glover, Jr. of Mississippi, Terry Glover (Cynthia) of Geneva, Larry Glover of Geneva, Robert Glover (Terry) of Dothan, Ricky Glover (Tina) of Dothan, and Randy Glover of Georgia; longtime girlfriend, Delores Braley of Dothan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charlie Glover (Shirley) of Ft. Myers, FL.
