Dorothy Ann Johnson

Dorothy Ann Johnson of Elba passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020.  She was 56.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Goodman Assembly of God Church with Rev. Huey Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Dorothy was born in Opp, AL on April 15, 1963, to the late Allen and Zadie Bryant Johnson.  Before becoming ill, Dorothy worked as a seamstress for many years.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cassie Ann Bryant and Betty Jean Knowles; and two brothers, Charlie Johnson and Jerry Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Quinton Boutwell of Elba; two sons, Chad Boutwell (Jessica) and Richard Boutwell (Katie), all of New Brockton; five grandchildren, Nevaeh Boutwell, Robert Boutwell, Gabe Boutwell, Cayden Boutwell, and Easton Boutwell; five brothers, Dock Johnson (Brenda), Mack Johnson (Ann), Fred Johnson, all of Elba, Pete Johnson of Opp, Michael Wayne Johnson (Tracy); and a sister, Peggy Mae Johnson both of Elba.
