Donnie Ray Calhoun

Donnie Ray Calhoun of Hartford passed away at Wiregrass Medical Center on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was 49. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva, with Rev. Red Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Donnie was born in Geneva, AL on April 14, 1975, to the late Wilton and Peggy Davis Calhoun.  He worked as a truck driver for many years, and he also worked in roofing for some time.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gabriel Calhoun; and a sister, Teresa Spicer.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberli Miller of Hartford; three daughters, Courtney Calhoun (Ben) of Elba, Mariska Calhoun of Bonifay, Voncile Calhoun of Bonifay, FL; son, Tilman Calhoun of Bonifay; two step children, MiKayla Miller of Geneva, DaKota Baxley of Geneva; grandchildren, Remington Johnson of Elba, and Kylan, Wesson, and Oakley;  and six siblings, Larry Calhoun (Jeannie), Bobby Calhoun (Pam), both of Geneva, Wilton Calhoun of Hartford, and Welton Calhoun (April) of Mossy Head, FL., John Calhoun, and Teresa Calhoun both of Geneva.
