Donna S. Gregory, 68, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2018 at her home in Byram, Mississippi. She was born December 4, 1949 in Enterprise, Alabama to Norman and Mildred Maureen “Millie” (Boles) Bottoms.
Donna was raised in Geneva, Alabama and Anna Maria Island, Florida. She graduated from Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida in 1967. She worked in Clerical Positions for several professional companies.
Ms. Gregory was a talented artist. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and cooking; especially recipes handed down from her beloved grandmother, Nola. She took a special interest in bluebirds and hummingbirds. For many years she rescued and provided a home to stray and abandoned dogs. She also loved to laugh with family and friends.
Donna is survived by her daughters; Dr. Staci Ianiro of Austin, Texas, Pamela Curington of Madison, Mississippi, grandsons Liam and Charlie Ianiro of Austin, Texas, sisters; Sandra Muller of Phoenix, Arizona, Diane Pendergraph of McMinnville, Tennessee, and Jennifer Bottoms of Orlando, Florida, sister-in-law Patty Shelton of Bradenton, Florida, aunt Christine Hobbs and uncle Howard Bottoms of Geneva, Alabama, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and fur baby Lilly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. “Jimmy” Gregory, her parents and grandparents, sister Cheryl Douglas, and brother William “Bill” Shelton.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 10:00 am at Geneva City Cemetery.
