Dollie (Warren) Mims

Dollie Mims of Geneva passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023.  She was 89 years old. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Cliff Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Mims was born in Geneva County on July 30, 1933, to the late Ruben Warren and Carrie Bell Warren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Mims; son, Dennis Mims; and all three of her siblings.  Mrs. Mims was a lifelong and oldest living member of Geneva Church of God.   She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Teachnor; son in law, John Teachnor; grandson, Todd Teachnor; niece; Pat Stevens (Rick); niece, Eva Nell Thomas; and nephew; Sam Somerset.
