Darril B Holland

Darril B. Holland of Chancellor passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was 77. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Larry Mock, officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing.  The family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Holland was born in Dothan, AL on May 25, 1947, to the late Lonnie and Grace Lewis Holland.  Prior to his retirement. he worked as an aircraft mechanic at PEMCO for forty-six years.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Peterson of Chancellor; two sons, David B. Holland, and Michael Todd Holland; daughter, Anna Nicole Anderson (Andy) all of Wicksburg; stepchildren, Christopher Henry Peterson (Melissa) of Chancellor, Gregory Wade Peterson of Coffee Springs, Kevin Todd Peterson of Chancellor, Ashleigh Desiree Hill of Level Plains, and Gregory Peterson Holland of Chancellor; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; sister, Deloris Riley (JB) of Wicksburg; and four nieces and nephews.
