Danny Ray Brackin

Danny Ray Brackin of Chancellor passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was 66. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Ken Weisensale, officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Danny was born in Geneva on July 16, 1956, to the late Billy Ray Brackin and Velma Lou Ballard Brackin. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a foreman in the logging industry for many years.  He was a member of Mims Hill Church.  He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lisa Charlene; and three brothers, Randy Brackin, Jeffrey Morgan, and Richey Brackin; and a sister, Gail Williams.

He is survived by two sisters, Susan Williams of Westville, Fla. and Amy Brasuell (Gary) of Coffee Springs; nieces and nephews, Brandon and Lee Williams, Todd, Nick and Brandy Killingsworth, Zach Brasuell, all of Coffee Springs and Chris Brasuell of Geneva; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
