Mr. Daniel C. Arrant, Jr. of Leonia, FL passed away at his home on February 8, 2013. He was 82. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2012 at Reedy Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kenneth Bradley officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The Family will receive friends at the church Sunday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Arrant was born in Leonia, FL on May 18, 1930 to the late Daniel C. and Nancy Harrell Arrant, Sr. Mr. Arrant served in the United States Army from 1948 - 1952. After his service in the military he worked as an electrician and farmer for more than 30 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Janette Read, Mary Gilbreath and Ida Mae Murph.

He is survived by his loving wife 58 years, Mildred Redmon Arrant of Leonia, FL; two sons, Charles Arrant (Nancy) and Matthew Arrant (Linda) all of Leonia, FL; three grandchildren, Daniel Arrant, Joseph Arrant (Nikole), and Lori Arrant all of Leonia, FL; one great grandson, Caleb Arrant of Bonifay, FL; three brothers, David Arrant of Tampa, FL, Bill and Boyd Arrant both of Leonia, FL; one sister, Iviene Ellenberg of Chancellor, AL; many special cousins especially, Kerensa Landers and the Landers Family, and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Daniel Arrant, Joseph Arrant, Steven Phillips, Danny Ellenberg, Ricky Redmon, and Micah Redmon.
