Chester R Holland

Mr. Chester R. Holland of Daleville passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.  He was 87.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Hartford City Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Simoneaux officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing. 

Mr. Holland was born in Wayne County, MS on November 3, 1934, to the late Austin and Susie Pugh Holland.  Prior to his retirement, he worked in industrial maintenance for many years.  He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Holland; and three brothers, David Holland, Robert Holland, and Wilford Holland.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Holland of Daleville; son, Danny L. Holland of Malvern; three daughters, Wanda L. Tucker (Rickey) of Dothan, Melissa Nelson of Malvern, and Teresa Martin (Steve) of Alabaster; two sisters, Geneva Stewart of Waynesboro, MS, and Ester Howell (Bill) of Saraland; three brothers, James Holland (Ann) of Axis, AL, Bobby Holland, and Charles Holland (Pat), both of Chunchula, AL; special friend, Rose Pound of Waynesboro, MS; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
