Bobby J Hatcher

Bobby J. Hatcher of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.  He was 72. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Mr. Malcolm Sewell, officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Hatcher was born in Holmes County, FL on March 24, 1950, to the late William Ralph Hatcher and Allene Monk Hatcher.  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Prior to his retirement, he worked in the textile industry for many years.  He surely loved to fish more than anything else, and he went as often as he could.  He was known and loved by everyone who met him.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Hatcher Gilmore.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hatcher; two daughters, Rena Kendziorski (Warren), of Slocomb, and Tina Barton Hatcher of Geneva; son, Greg Hatcher (Felisha) of Bonifay, FL; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lois Wambles (Steve) of Bellwood, and Sarah Miller (Guy) of Hartford.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
