Andrew Foxworth

Andrew “Andy” Foxworth of Montgomery and formerly of Geneva passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 after a brief illness.  He was 80. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Teddy Ward, officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing.

Mr. Foxworth was born in Holmes County, FL on February 23, 1943, to the late Crawford and Beatrice Lee Foxworth.  He was a longtime member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church.  Prior to his retirement, he worked at Rushing Enterprises for many years.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Foxworth; two daughters, Susan Amanda Catherine Foxworth, and Jessica Amelia Foxworth; sister, Maurine Myers; and a brother, Eugene Foxworth.

He is survived by his daughter, Renee Word (Brett) of Montgomery; three grandchildren, Andrew Paul Word (Samantha), Amelia Foxworth Word, and Aaron Lee Word; and two brothers, Talmadge Foxworth (Faye), and Billy Foxworth (Diane), both of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.
