Mr. Alan Williams of Signal Mountain, TN and formerly of Geneva, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was 47. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Mike Shirah officiating.

Alan was born in Geneva County, AL on August 23, 1964. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, LaRue Williams.

He is survived by his mother, Dean Harris Sheilds (Randy) of Hartford, AL; one son, Matthew Alan Williams (Alexis) of Maryville, TN; one grandson, Christian Williams of Maryville, TN; one sister, Amy Brackin (Ricky); nephew and niece, Carson and Emma Brackin all of Geneva; very special friend, Susan Stilz of Signal Mountain, TN; and several aunts and uncles.
