Mrs. Addie Idell Mote Weeks of Samson passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012. She was 92. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Shady Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Randy Wilson and Rev. Donnie Earles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Weeks was born in Geneva County on July 29, 1920 to the late Emmitt Rush Mote and Lena Mae Marsh Mote. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R.A. Weeks, Sr.; daughter, Brenda Carolyn Flood; her infant twins, Jerry and Gerld Weeks; and four brothers, Wayne Mote, Marvin Mote, Colyer Mote and Wren Mote.

She is survived by three sons, Victor Weeks of Orlando, FL, Albert Weeks of Christmas, FL and R.A. Weeks, Jr. of Vernon, FL; two daughters, Joan C. Partain of Russellville, AL and Helen Hill of Oviedo, FL; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Weeks was a very loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She was a lifelong Christian who will be missed by all.
