Wilfrieda (Mueller) Reese

Wilfrieda Mueller Reese of Geneva passed away at on Sunday, September 2, 2018, one day before of her 89th birthday.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Poplar Head United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Mashburn, officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. 

Mrs. Reese was born in Leoben, Austria on September 3, 1929.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, J.T. Reese, Jr.; father, Anton Resch; and her mother, Josepha Resch.

She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Reese of Eufaula; Bobby Reese (Marge) of Sugar Hill, GA, and Mark Reese (Lori) of Manhattan Beach, CA; daughter, Virginia Branch (Billy) of Dothan; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Gerlinde Pongratz and Adelheid Boschinger; and two brothers, Walter Mueller and Helmut Resch, all of Austria.
