Eva Grace Holmes of Geneva passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017.  She was 98.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018, at El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Edwin E. Scott, officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 309 S. Commerce St.
Geneva, AL 36340. 

Miss Eva was born in Chancellor, AL on March 29, 1919, to the late Charles Henry and Lillian Eudora Holmes.  She was the oldest member of the Geneva First Baptist Church, having religiously attending services there for more than 80 years.

She is survived by three nieces, Sara Smith of Montgomery, AL, Doris Davis, and Judy Brigan (Randy) of all Pensacola, FL and close and loving friends, Michael and Abby Crews and family, Serena Weeks and family, and Jan Dixon and staff at Greenwood Assisted Living.
